Museums and historical monuments will reopen throughout the country as of June 2. Concert halls and theatres will also reopen on June 2, except in the “orange zone” (8 departments, including Paris), where the reopening is delayed until June 22.  Social distancing rules, which include a specific organisation of seating arrangements and mandatory masks, will be put in place for the safety of the public.

Coffee shops, bars and restaurants will be allowed to reopen as of June 2 in the “green zone”. However, only terraces will be authorised to reopen in the “orange zone”.
