2016-17 CONCERT SEASON IN KOERNER HALL
CLASSICAL AND JAZZ CONCERTS ANNOUNCED
Lang Lang performs at the Season Gala
The Art of the Trio
series includes pairings of Canadian and international jazz trios
Pianists appearing during the season include
Daniil Trifonov, Stewart Goodyear, Sir András Schiff,
Louis Lortie, and Ludovico Einaudi
Vocal concerts include Deborah Voigt, Natalie Dessay, and The King’s Singers
A-list violinists lead chamber orchestras:
Gidon Kremer and Kremerata Baltica perform a daring Pictures at an Exhibition
Nicola Benedetti performs The Four Seasons with the Venice Baroque Orchestra
Viktoria Mullova leads Accademia Bizantina in an all Bach program 
Academy of St Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble,
The Dover Quartet with superstar mandolinist Avi Avital,
and The Montrose Trio make debuts
Koerner Hall welcomes a plethora of young talent,
including pianists Charles Richard-Hamelin, Alexander Seredenko,
and Tony Yike Yang, along with cellist Stéphane Tétreault,
the JCT Trio, and Russian violinist Alina Ibragimova
Royal Conservatory Orchestra is conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy,
Tito Muñoz, Johannes Debus, and Bramwell Tovey
