MUSICA CAMERATA MONTRÉAL will feature, for their second concert of the 53rd season on Saturday November 19 at 6PM at the Chapelle Historique du Bon-Pasteur (100 Sherbrooke east) a program based on two very musical cities: Vienna and Paris.

Franz Schubert: String trio in one movement (Triosatz) D471: An adorable and neglected piece that will delight the audience.

W A Mozart: Piano quartet in G minor K478: The most popular of his two piano quartets that is close to the piano concertos.

Camille Saint-Saëns: Piano quartet in E major: This quartet was written in 1853. It remained hidden and forgotten until it was found in Paris by Montréal’s musicologist Dr Sabina Ratner and was offered, in manuscript form, to the Camerata musicians who found the piece very charming, challenging and beautiful, prompting them to record it in 1992.

Musicians: Berta Rosenohl, piano; Luis Grinhauz, violín; Sofia Gentile and Bruno Tobon, cello.

Tickets will not be sold at the Chapelle. People interested should purchase them by Interac ([email protected]) or sending a cheque to Musica Camerata Montréal, 5694 ch. Merrimac, Côte Saint-Luc, QC H4W 1S6.Tickets: $40 (taxes included).
