Montreal, June 10, 2022 – Earlier at Maison symphonique, the audience and the international jury of Voice 2022 attended the Aria Grand Finale of the Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM). After the performance, the jury members met one final time to deliberate and determine the winners of the Art Song and Aria divisions of Voice 2022.

The CMIM received a total of 385 applications for its Voice 2022 edition. 32 young singers were selected, including 13 Canadians.

Considered one of the most prestigious music competitions in the world, the Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM) is held annually and alternates over a three-year cycle. Since its creation in 2001, the CMIM has aimed to stimulate the emergence of young musicians destined for a professional career and to promote their influence within the international artistic community while making classical music accessible to the greatest number of people.
