Montreal, Dec. 21, 2020. Just in time for Christmas, Bach Before Bedtime has released BBB Nutcracker, a music video based on Tchaikovsky’s timeless classic, ideally suited for children in this time of pandemic lockdown. It recreates, perfectly, the magic of the BBB live performances, bringing together dancers, a string quartet, English and French narration, illustrated animation and singalongs.

In only 30 minutes, children are introduced to the world of classical music and the whimsical story of The Nutcracker. The interactive video gives children the feeling that they are part of the story. They get the chance to join in, singing and dancing with the artists.

“In this film, I wanted to capture the magic of The Nutcracker but with the children being almost able to touch the musicians and dancers,” says Dorothy Fieldman Fraiberg. “This closeness is very important. Another thing I think is very important is that the children own this video, and they can watch it over and over.”

BBB Nutcracker offers the perfect recipe to create lifelong memories and to make young and old fall in love with classical music. Through a very intimate setting, it brings the experience of concerts and ballet to children, who will want to watch the performance time and again. It is an event, something special. It is a magical moment to watch, sing, dance, share and rewind.
