The Orchestre de chambre de la Montérégie – Holiday Season Concert

The Orchestre de chambre de la Montérégie, under the musical direction of Nicolas Ellis, accompanied by dancers from the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, are pleased to share their first webcast production. This initiative allows the organization to pursue its mission of providing access to music and the performing arts to a greater number of people, to support the next generation and musical education, and to maintain the Orchestra’s excellence. Le Chemin de Noël 2020

This year, Bernard Labadie’s Le Chemin de Noël is presented in an online version thanks to Radio-Canada Québec. Listeners have the opportunity to discover a new hymn, the fruit of a collaboration between François Dompierre and Denys Arcand. The texts, chosen by Labadie, will be read by Yves Jacques. Cirque Éloize: Sept moments de joie

Both an art film and a documentary, Sept moments de joie is a journey into the minds of artists from very different worlds. An intimate study of their shared humanity. Under the artistic direction of Benoit Landry and told through the lens of director Lilli Marcotte, seven guest choreographers—Ivanie Aubin-Malo, Virginie Brunelle, Claudia Chan Tak, Christian Garmatter, Axelle Munezero, Manuel Roque and Edgar Zendejas—bring to life short pieces that combine dance and the circus arts.
