It aims at discovering, promoting and supporting young talented artists, giving them the necessary tools to launch an international career. The 76th edition is presenting piano &amp; composition and will take place from October 22nd to November 3rd in Geneva, Switzerland. It is open to pianists up to 30 years and composers 40 years old. Piano is chaired by Janina Fialkowska, while Composition is chaired by Beat Furrer. Composers will be invited to submit a work for a six-voice vocal ensemble, to be performed by Stuttgart\u2019s renowned Neue Vocalsolisten. As for the piano competition, the first two stages will be held online, according to the model inaugurated in 2021. Candidates selected for the two finals stages will be invited to pursue the competition in Geneva. The semi-final round will be articulated in three phases: a solo recital, a chamber music concert, and the presentation of a personal artistic project, which laureates will be given the chance to carry out as part of our career development programme.
