Shore compose avant tout de la musique de film, mais sur ce nouveau disque, il est le compositeur d\u2019un concerto pour guitare intitul\u00e9 <i>The Forest<\/i> pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en 2019 par l\u2019Orchestre du Centre national des Arts sous la direction d\u2019Alexander Shelley. C\u2019est une musique attrayante, mais plus atmosph\u00e9rique que m\u00e9morable. La guitare acoustique amplifi\u00e9e occupe l\u2019avant-plan tout entier, l\u2019orchestre \u00e9tant \u00e0 peine audible en arri\u00e8re-plan. Joby Talbot a \u00e9galement connu un grand succ\u00e8s avec sa partition de 2011 pour <i>Alice\u2019s Adventures in Wonderland<\/i> du Royal Ballet et son op\u00e9ra <i>Everest<\/i> de 2015, entre autres \u0153uvres. Son concerto pour guitare intitul\u00e9 <i>Ink Dark Moon<\/i> pr\u00e9sente des \u00e9l\u00e9ments minimalistes ainsi que des motifs rythmiques bas\u00e9s sur les danses folkloriques des Balkans. L\u2019\u0153uvre a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois aux Proms en 2018 par l\u2019Orchestre symphonique de la BBC sous la direction de Ben Gernon. Encore une fois, la guitare amplifi\u00e9e est excessivement dominante. Le guitariste MILO\u0160 (anciennement Milo\u0161 Karadagli\u0107) joue bien et est particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9loquent dans les pi\u00e8ces lyriques de Schumann et Einaudi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shore: The Forest.
