Ecoutez les discordances ironiques du mouvement Largo et vous entendrez une fusion unique &#8211; un italien lyrique avec une sympathie sophistiqu\u00e9e pour les ambigu\u00eft\u00e9s secr\u00e8tes de la Russie.<\/p>\n<p>Noseda a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&#8217;assistant de Valery Gergiev \u00e0 Saint-P\u00e9tersbourg. Il a ensuite travaill\u00e9 pour la BBC \u00e0 Manchester avant de devenir directeur musical du Teatro Regio \u00e0 Turin, en Italie. Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9 par l&#8217;Orchestre philharmonique d&#8217;Isra\u00ebl, le LSO et Pittsburgh. En termes de diversit\u00e9 des exp\u00e9riences, peu de chefs d&#8217;orchestre aujourd&#8217;hui peuvent l&#8217;\u00e9galer. Au milieu de la cinquantaine, il sera en lice pour tous les postes importants \u00e0 pourvoir dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n<p>Ces enregistrements en direct du Barbican d\u00e9montrent la tendance de Noseda \u00e0 opter pour un gros plan serr\u00e9 lorsqu&#8217;un joueur ou une section brille, et pour une vue plus large lorsque Chostakovitch tombe dans l&#8217;une de ses \u00e9quivoques et de ses effondrements m\u00e9lancoliques. La 10e symphonie perd un ou deux crans de tension dans le finale et le son enregistr\u00e9 est constip\u00e9 par les d\u00e9fauts acoustiques du Barbican. Mais cette sortie nous donne ce dont nous avons le plus envie en ce moment &#8211; une exp\u00e9rience, ou du moins un simulacre &#8211; de la musique orchestrale en direct, dans toutes ses couleurs et ses fragilit\u00e9s.
