Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement num\u00e9rique, inspir\u00e9 de quelques extraits de l\u2019op\u00e9ra et teint\u00e9 des contraintes impos\u00e9es \u00e0 la sc\u00e8ne artistique, sera diffus\u00e9 sur le web le 21 janvier 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Apr\u00e8s quatre ann\u00e9es de travail, j\u2019ai re\u00e7u les derni\u00e8res notes de la partition en mars 2020, explique Pauline Vaillancourt. Juste avant le confinement. Nous \u00e9tions pr\u00eats pour la suite (costumes, r\u00e9p\u00e9titions, sc\u00e9nographie, etc.) tout ce qu\u2019exige les quelques mois pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant une cr\u00e9ation. Mais la Covid-19 a boulevers\u00e9 tous les projets de notre \u00e9quipe \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise-t-elle. \u00ab\u00a0Nous devions reporter la cr\u00e9ation \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2021 comme tout le milieu de la culture. Un trou, un crat\u00e8re artistique vide de sens s\u2019est ouvert devant nous. Je ne voulais pas abandonner, ni tomber dans l\u2019improvisation.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Un produit artistique complet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or, selon elle, l\u2019\u0153uvre de Zad et Larry pr\u00e9sente des bases solides, autour d\u2019un sujet, une mati\u00e8re tout aussi solide. \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019ai donc voulu tresser quelque chose qui nous permette d\u2019esp\u00e9rer et de survivre artistiquement parlant, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation. \u00ab\u00a0Ce pr\u00e9lude explore <\/span><b>le manque<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dans toute sa dimension sc\u00e9nique teint\u00e9e des contraintes de la COVID 19\u00a0; le manque\u2026 de cr\u00e9ation, de travail, d\u2019artistes, de public, d\u2019interactions, de beaut\u00e9, etc.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>O\u00f9 le vide devient personnage\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une courte forme, un &#8220;pr\u00e9lude&#8221;, inspir\u00e9e autant par l\u2019\u0153uvre de Zad Moultaka et Larry Tremblay que par cette salle, vide de son public, du Monument-National\u00a0\u00bb, reprend la directrice artistique de Chants Libres.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par le com\u00e9dien S\u00e9bastien Ricard, l\u2019Auteur, un personnage fictif, s\u2019y d\u00e9place. Arm\u00e9 de la musique et des mots de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019orangeraie<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, il imagine l\u2019\u0153uvre \u00e0 venir, voit et entend les artistes qui hantent comme lui la salle vide \u00bb, explique Pauline Vaillancourt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Un pont d\u2019espoir vers l\u2019\u00c0 venir\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Ce pr\u00e9lude se veut un pont d\u2019espoir malgr\u00e9 la pand\u00e9mie, contre la pand\u00e9mie\u2026 En parall\u00e8le, notre <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pr\u00e9lude \u00e0 l\u2019op\u00e9ra<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> invite \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019essence d\u2019une cr\u00e9ation op\u00e9ratique, une exploration collective d\u2019un op\u00e9ra &#8220;\u00e0 venir&#8221;.
