Les quatre sonates, et en fait tous les mouvements sauf un, sont dans une tonalit\u00e9 majeure. Non que la bonhomie rayonnante semble jamais facile, Beethoven \u00e9tant le plus grand ma\u00eetre de tous en l\u2019art de repr\u00e9senter la vie dans son ombre aussi bien que dans son ensoleillement. Andrew Wan, c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9 de l\u2019OSM, est capable de faire des remarques incisives avec subtilit\u00e9. Il est ad\u00e9quatement assorti au piano de l\u2019attentionn\u00e9 Charles Richard-Hamelin. Nous avons le sentiment que ces grandes \u0153uvres sont l\u2019expression non seulement de la parit\u00e9, mais aussi de l\u2019amiti\u00e9. Il serait difficile de demander un gazouillis plus enjou\u00e9 dans le premier mouvement de l\u2019opus 12 n\u00b0 2, pris dans un Allegro vivace relativement d\u00e9tendu. L\u2019ouverture de la Sonate \u00ab Le Printemps \u00bb op. 24 s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve gentiment et il y a une foison de clair-obscur dans le mouvement lent. Ma seule objection concerne le non-respect des r\u00e9p\u00e9titions du premier mouvement. Bien s\u00fbr, je n\u2019ai que mon affection d\u00e9mod\u00e9e pour les disques compacts \u00e0 bl\u00e2mer.
