La compagnie new-yorkaise pr\u00e9sente en effet, pour deux soirs seulement, en exclusivit\u00e9 canadienne, <i> Nearly 90\u00b2<\/i> au th\u00e9\u00e2tre Maisonneuve. Il s\u2019agit de l\u2019ultime spectacle de Merce Cunningham, mort en juillet 2009 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 90 ans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Une foule se pressait \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e de la salle. F\u00e9brilit\u00e9, impatience.. Les spectateurs ont toutes les raisons d\u2019\u00eatre agit\u00e9s: le nom de Merce Cunningham \u00e9voque \u00e0 lui seul\u00a0 un large pan de l\u2019histoire de la danse contemporaine. Beaucoup sont au rendez-vous, curieux de relever l\u2019ultime t\u00e9moignage de ce g\u00e9ant de la danse. Apr\u00e8s cette tourn\u00e9e post-mortem et selon la volont\u00e9 du chor\u00e9graphe,\u00a0 la Merce Cunningham Dance Company mettra en effet la clef sous la porte. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.merce.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: blue;\"><u>www.merce.org<\/u><\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">)<i>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>Nearly 90\u00b2<\/i>, version \u00ab\u00a0l\u00e9g\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb con\u00e7ue pour la tourn\u00e9e de <i>Nearly Ninety<\/i>, une \u0153uvre cr\u00e9\u00e9e par Merce Cunningham le jour de son anniversaire, est une le\u00e7on de danse et de chor\u00e9graphie. Le soin apport\u00e9 \u00e0 la composition de chaque image et de chaque s\u00e9quence, qui \u00e9voque le travail d\u2019un photographe ou d\u2019un cin\u00e9aste de g\u00e9nie, r\u00e9jouit l\u2019\u0153il et l\u2019esprit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Sur la toile de la sc\u00e8ne, les 13 interpr\u00e8tes sont pleins de leurs mouvements d\u2019une \u00e9l\u00e9gante pr\u00e9cision. Le chor\u00e9graphe a sculpt\u00e9 leurs corps athl\u00e9tiques, les d\u00e9pliant \u00e0 son gr\u00e9 dans les tableaux de lumi\u00e8re de Christine Shallenberg. Les musiciens John King et Takehisa Kosugi accompagnent en direct d\u2019une musique minimaliste la performance des danseurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">J\u2019ai entendu hier soir certains spectateurs qualifier le spectacle de \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9pass\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb <b><i> <\/i><\/b>Je vais laisser\u00a0 l\u2019extrait de cet article de Fran\u00e7ois Dufort r\u00e9pondre\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Un de mes coll\u00e8gues europ\u00e9ens a fait la remarque, \u00e0\u00a0juste titre, que la pi\u00e8ce semblait un peu poussi\u00e9reuse, tout simplement parce que les innovations de Cunningham ont \u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0depuis longtemps r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9es par de nombreux chor\u00e9graphes\u2026 Un air de d\u00e9j\u00e0-vu donc, et ce, m\u00eame si l\u2019\u0153uvre a \u00e0 peine un an.<b><i> (<\/i><\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dfdanse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: blue;\"><b><i><u>www.dfdanse.com<\/u><\/i><\/b><\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b><i>)<\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Ce soir, le FTA pr\u00e9sente les tr\u00e8s attendues <i>Trag\u00e9dies Romaines<\/i> de la compagnie hollandaise Toneelgroep Amsterdam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">La compagnie Vertigo ouvre pour sa part ce soir avec <i>Ondes de Choc<\/i> \u00e0 l\u2019Usine C.
