Son talent \u00e9clatant se tr\u00e9moussait dans la premi\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie d\u2019une r\u00e9volution o\u00f9 tout semblait possible et \u00e0 port\u00e9e de tous\u00a0: abondance de travail, repas gratuits, amour libre. Personne ne pr\u00e9voyait que Staline allait an\u00e9antir l\u2019\u00e9tincelle et l\u2019esprit culturels de cette r\u00e9volution.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux premi\u00e8res mondiales sur cet album sont \u00e9loquentes. <em>La Punaise <\/em>est une com\u00e9die \u00e9crite par le po\u00e8te Vladimir Ma\u00efakovski, pour lequel Chostakovitch composait des musiques d\u2019accompagnement en 1928-29 \u00e0 la demande du directeur de th\u00e9\u00e2tre Vsevolod Meyerhold, que le jeune compositeur r\u00e9v\u00e9rait. Au lieu d\u2019\u00eatre retenu par ces deux fortes personnalit\u00e9s, Chostakovitch, alors \u00e2g\u00e9 de 23 ans, s\u2019\u00e9clate avec irr\u00e9v\u00e9rence et inventivit\u00e9 : on retrouve du Hindemith en chandail d\u00e9chir\u00e9, du Kurt Weill sur la coca\u00efne, une bonne pinc\u00e9e d\u2019Ernst Krenek, le tout m\u00e9lang\u00e9 grossi\u00e8rement dans un bortsch absolument russe et carr\u00e9ment insolent.<\/p>\n<p>On devrait payer les trombones pour leurs heures suppl\u00e9mentaires et un des instruments sonne \u00e9trangement comme un th\u00e9r\u00e9mine. On pourrait difficilement faire plus avant-gardiste et plus cosmopolite pour la fin des ann\u00e9es 1920. La voix du compositeur ne se perd toutefois jamais dans le fatras de ses influences. L\u2019excellent orchestre est la Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz et le ch\u0153ur russe est de Mannheim.<\/p>\n<p>La pi\u00e8ce d\u2019accompagnement est la musique du film sovi\u00e9tique de 1935 <em>Amour et haine<\/em>. Rapi\u00e9c\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de fragments par le chef Mark Fitz-Gerald, la partition est celle d\u2019une <em>Punaise<\/em> semi-domestiqu\u00e9e regardant autour d\u2019elle \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019approbation. L\u2019ann\u00e9e d\u2019apr\u00e8s, la main de fer de Staline s\u2019abattait sur Chostakovitch. Le reste fait partie de l\u2019histoire.
