Commande de l\u2019OSM bas\u00e9e sur une l\u00e9gende crie, l\u2019\u0153uvre sera interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e par le t\u00e9nor Owen McCausland et le baryton Geoffroy Salvas. Florent Vollant et Akinisie Sivuarapik feront, quant \u00e0 eux, la narration en innu et en inuktitut, respectivement. Ils interpr\u00e9teront chacun deux \u0153uvres de leur r\u00e9pertoire respectif avant d\u2019unir leurs forces pour donner vie \u00e0 une brillante transcription de l\u2019ouverture de l\u2019op\u00e9ra <em>Luisa Miller<\/em> de Verdi. Au programme, le <em>Quintette \u00e0 cordes<\/em> <em>en mi majeur<\/em> de Beethoven, dans un arrangement de Mordechai Rechtman, <em>Mujeres Espa\u00f1olas<\/em>, s\u00e9rie 2, de Joaqu\u00edn Turina P\u00e9rez, le <em>Quintuor <\/em>de Giulio Briccialdi, <em>Quintette \u00e0 vent n<sup>o<\/sup> 2<\/em> de Miguel del \u00c1guila et, enfin, une cr\u00e9ation pour double quintette \u00e0 vent de Simon Bourget. R\u00e9cipiendaire de la bourse d\u2019op\u00e9ra Brian Law et de celle de la Fondation Jacqueline Desmarais pour les jeunes chanteurs d\u2019op\u00e9ra canadiens, Philippe Sly s\u2019est rapidement impos\u00e9 sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale. Il fera ses d\u00e9buts au LMMC avec le <em>Winterreise<\/em> de Schubert, accompagn\u00e9 au piano de Michael McMahon.
