En 1908, le jeune Igor, inconnu et dans la mi-vingtaine, \u00e9crit une ode fun\u00e8bre \u00e0 son professeur, Nikola\u00ef Rimski-Korsakov. La musique est jou\u00e9e aux obs\u00e8ques de Rimski, puis apparemment perdue, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que les partitions soient retrouv\u00e9es en 2015 dans des archives de Saint-P\u00e9tersbourg. Valeri Guerguiev a acquis les droits de donner la premi\u00e8re prestation moderne, tandis que Decca a obtenu les droits d\u2019enregistrement. \u00c0 la premi\u00e8re \u00e9coute, il est difficile de reconna\u00eetre Stravinski. On pourrait confondre les cordes scintillantes et les bois abaiss\u00e9s avec l\u2019\u00e9criture de Sibelius ou Richard Strauss. Mais lorsque le basson \u00e9met une ligne courte, l\u2019empreinte de Stravinski appara\u00eet. Les trois grands ballets fr\u00e9missent ensuite sous la surface. Cela dit, ce travail pr\u00e9coce, doux et affectueux, offre de nombreux plaisirs simples.<\/p>\n<p>Deux autres \u0153uvres de jeunesse, <em>Feu d\u2019artifice <\/em>(op. 4) et <em>Scherzo fantastique <\/em>(op. 3) et un triptyque de chansons orchestrales nous m\u00e8nent au plat de r\u00e9sistance de l\u2019album, <em>Le Sacre du printemps<\/em>. Cette prestation immacul\u00e9e de Riccardo Chailly et de l\u2019Orchestre du festival de Lucerne \u00e9vite la brutalit\u00e9 habituelle. Leur <em>Sacre<\/em> est un rituel plus religieux, moins violent, une convocation spirituelle aux danses d\u00e9jant\u00e9es. L\u2019approche de Chailly fait un contraste rafra\u00eechissant \u00e0 la rudesse russe, une lecture alternative d\u2019un chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre moderniste. Les solos instrumentaux sont \u00e9l\u00e9gants et sereins. Le bassoniste anonyme m\u00e9rite un prix Nobel.
