N\u00e9anmoins, c\u2019est un formidable d\u00e9fi et Coop affiche des comp\u00e9tences techniques impressionnantes. Le <em>Concerto pour piano n\u00b0 3 <\/em>de Bart\u00f3k est un morceau de loin sup\u00e9rieur; Coop et Bernardi offrent une version \u00e0 la fois profond\u00e9ment expressive et \u00e9nergique quand elle doit l\u2019\u00eatre.<\/p>\n<p>Malcolm Forsyth (1936-2011) a grandi en Afrique du Sud et est venu \u00e0 Edmonton pour enseigner \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de l\u2019Alberta en 1968. Le <em>Concerto pour piano<\/em> de 26 minutes est un travail pr\u00e9coce. La batterie d\u2019inspiration africaine peut sembler assez rudimentaire dans des auditions r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es, mais Forsyth cr\u00e9e magistralement un ensemble int\u00e9ressant de variations.
