De Buenos Aires \u00e0 La Paz, un r\u00e9pertoire qui prend racine dans l\u2019histoire de ces pays d\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Sud marqu\u00e9e par les dictatures et par l\u2019h\u00e9ritage des peuples natifs. Un p\u00e9riple musical interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par quatre instrumentistes : le duo Wapiti \u2013 Genevi\u00e8ve Liboiron (violon) et Daniel \u00c1\u00f1ez Garcia (piano) \u2013, \u00c9milie Girard-Charest (violoncelle) et l\u2019Argentin Jorge Diego V\u00e1zquez Salvagno; un concert d\u00e9ambulatoire jalonn\u00e9 d\u2019installations vid\u00e9ographiques sign\u00e9es Andr\u00e9s Salas.<\/p>\n<h4>P\u00e9riple musical hors normes<\/h4>\n<p>D\u00e9ambulatoire, le concert investira g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement les espaces du MAI, enrichi de projections du vid\u00e9aste <strong>Andr\u00e9s Salas<\/strong>. D\u2019une station \u00e0 l\u2019autre, seront interpr\u00e9t\u00e9es des \u0153uvres des compositeurs argentins Cecilia Arditto, Marcos Franciosi, Natalia Solomonoff et Jorge V\u00e1squez Salvagno et des compositeurs boliviens Alberto Villalpando, Cergio Prudencio, Canela Palacios et Carlos Gutierrez. Ces \u0153uvres contemporaines, passionnantes et exp\u00e9rimentales prennent racines et inspirations dans l\u2019histoire de ces pays, marqu\u00e9e par les dictatures, et dans l\u2019h\u00e9ritage des peuples natifs, notamment q\u2019echua et aymara. De Buenos Aires \u00e0 La Paz, ces musiques savantes partagent donc l\u2019expression puissante de la douleur, de la disparition ou de la souffrance mais surtout une affirmation de beaut\u00e9 et de vitalit\u00e9. Pour ce concert d\u00e9ambulatoire, le duo <strong>Wapiti<\/strong> s\u2019entoure de trois instrumentistes chevronn\u00e9s <strong>\u00c9milie Girard<\/strong><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><strong>Charest<\/strong> et <strong>Jorge Diego V\u00e1zquez Salvagno<\/strong>. Compositeur argentin, <strong>V\u00e1zquez Salvagno<\/strong> jouera pour l\u2019occasion du tarka, une fl\u00fbte en bois bolivienne utilis\u00e9e en Altiplano dans les Andes.<\/p>\n<h4>L\u2019ensemble Wapiti<\/h4>\n<p>En\u00a02012, <strong>Genevi\u00e8ve Liboiron<\/strong> et\u00a0<strong>Daniel \u00c1\u00f1ez<\/strong> <strong>Garcia<\/strong> fondent <strong>Wapiti<\/strong>, une formation\u00a0violon-piano et synth\u00e9tiseurs, un\u00a0duo d\u00e9di\u00e9\u00a0\u00e0 la musique contemporaine et exp\u00e9rimentale. <strong>Wapiti<\/strong> s\u2019est produit notamment au <em>Centro Nacional de las Artes<\/em> \u00e0 Mexico et, \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, au festival<em>Montr\u00e9al\/Nouvelles Musiques<\/em> de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de Musique Contemporaine du Qu\u00e9bec (SMCQ).Il y a quelque mois, l\u2019ensemble montr\u00e9alais r\u00e9alisait une tourn\u00e9e dans quatre villes en Argentine<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/wapitiensemble\"><strong>https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/wapitiensemble<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Daniel \u00c1\u00f1ez Garc\u00eda<\/h4>\n<p>Ma\u00eetre incontest\u00e9 du r\u00e9pertoire contemporain colombien, le brillant pianiste <strong>Daniel \u00c1\u00f1ez Garc\u00eda <\/strong>a \u00e9t\u00e9 laur\u00e9at ex \u00e6quo du <em>Grand Prix <\/em>de la <em>3<sup>e<\/sup> Comp\u00e9tition internationale de<\/em> <em>piano <\/em>au Costa Rica, En 2007, il enregistre <strong><em>Col\u00f3n electr\u00f3nico 5 a\u00f1os (2002-2006)<\/em><\/strong>, une \u0153uvre comm\u00e9morative pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au Teatro Col\u00f3n de Bogot\u00e1.<\/p>\n<h4>Genevi\u00e8ve Liboiron<\/h4>\n<p>Laur\u00e9ate d&#8217;un prix OPUS pour le meilleur concert de l&#8217;ann\u00e9e dans la cat\u00e9gorie Musique actuelle\/Musique \u00e9lectroacoustique en 2012, <strong>Genevi\u00e8ve Liboiron<\/strong> \u0153uvre au sein de plusieurs ensembles notamment pour les Productions SuperMusique et pour <u>l&#8217;ensemble<\/u> de la SMCQ.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00c9milie Girard-Charest<\/h4>\n<p>Violoncelliste, compositrice et improvisatrice, <strong>\u00c9milie Girard-Charest<\/strong> se consacre activement aux musiques nouvelles.
