Une relecture audacieuse de l\u2019op\u00e9rette <em>La Belle H\u00e9l\u00e8ne<\/em> de Jacques Offenbach, transpos\u00e9e dans l\u2019univers flamboyant et trouble du Nouvel Hollywood des ann\u00e9es 1970.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Imagin\u00e9e par la metteure en sc\u00e8ne Lorraine Pintal et port\u00e9e par une adaptation du livret sign\u00e9e Marc Boucher, cette production propose une relecture contemporaine o\u00f9 la satire d\u2019Offenbach rencontre les m\u00e9canismes de fabrication de l\u2019image, du pouvoir et du d\u00e9sir.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sur sc\u00e8ne, la grande mezzo-soprano Marie-Nicole Lemieux incarne une H\u00e9l\u00e8ne profond\u00e9ment r\u00e9invent\u00e9e : une femme plus consciente, tiraill\u00e9e entre l\u2019image qu\u2019on projette d\u2019elle et sa volont\u00e9 de reprendre le contr\u00f4le de son destin.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Une op\u00e9rette mythique r\u00e9interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Inspir\u00e9e de la mythologie grecque, notamment du jugement de P\u00e2ris, <em>La Belle H\u00e9l\u00e8ne<\/em> demeure l\u2019une des op\u00e9rettes les plus jou\u00e9es au monde. Fid\u00e8le \u00e0 la musique originale d\u2019Offenbach, la production propose toutefois une r\u00e9\u00e9criture majeure du livret, respectant la prosodie et l\u2019esprit de l\u2019\u0153uvre tout en l\u2019inscrivant dans un nouvel imaginaire.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Une mise en sc\u00e8ne de la fabrication du spectacle<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">La proposition sc\u00e9nique repose sur une mise en abyme assum\u00e9e : <em>La Belle H\u00e9l\u00e8ne<\/em> se joue dans <em>La Belle H\u00e9l\u00e8ne<\/em>. Le plateau devient un v\u00e9ritable tournage de cin\u00e9ma : cam\u00e9ras, \u00e9clairages, perches, \u00e9quipe technique et \u00e9crans font partie int\u00e9grante de la dramaturgie. Le spectacle r\u00e9v\u00e8le ainsi ses propres m\u00e9canismes de fabrication.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Cette distanciation cr\u00e9e plusieurs niveaux de lecture, o\u00f9 l\u2019op\u00e9rette devient \u00e0 la fois r\u00e9cit, critique et objet en train de se construire sous les yeux du public.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Un festival qui fait tomber les murs<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>La Belle H\u00e9l\u00e8ne<\/em> sera de la 17\u1d49\u00a0\u00e9dition du Festival Classica en 2027, alors que la 16\u1d49\u00a0\u00e9dition se tiendra du 22 mai au 14 juin 2026.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00ab <em>Ce projet s\u2019inscrit pleinement dans l\u2019esprit des concerts que nous pr\u00e9sentons cette ann\u00e9e au Festival comme Notre-Dame de Paris, lyrique-symphonique.
