Ses trois s\u00e9ries \u2013 Cartes blanches, M\u00e9lod\u00eenes et Sur la route \u2013 donnent la parole \u00e0 des musiciens nouveaux et confirm\u00e9s avec des concerts \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al et \u00e0 Bromont.<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00e9rie Cartes blanches prend son envol le 22\u00a0f\u00e9vrier avec le pianiste canadien Jan Lisiecki qui pr\u00e9sentera son <em>World (of) Dance<\/em>, un nouveau programme inspir\u00e9 de danses d\u2019Europe et d\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine qu\u2019il a inaugur\u00e9 en janvier \u00e0 Steinfurt, en Allemagne.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La premi\u00e8re fois, c\u2019est l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les papillons se font le plus ressentir, confie-t-il. Ce projet tr\u00e8s prenant l\u2019a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 faire de nombreuses d\u00e9couvertes. \u00ab Parmi ces morceaux, je ne recherche pas seulement ceux que je veux jouer [ou]les classiques qu\u2019il faut jouer \u00bb, explique-t-il.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cas de <em>World (of) Dance<\/em> qui relie le romantisme au d\u00e9but du modernisme, Lisiecki a choisi des \u0153uvres moins connues de grands compositeurs comme Schubert, Chopin, Brahms et Bart\u00f3k, lui-m\u00eame n\u2019ayant d\u00e9j\u00e0 interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 que deux d\u2019entre elles.<\/p>\n<h4>Partie II\u00a0: approfondissement<\/h4>\n<p>Lors de la pr\u00e9paration d\u2019un r\u00e9cital d\u2019\u0153uvres presque enti\u00e8rement nouvelles, il est in\u00e9vitable que certaines s\u2019av\u00e8rent \u00e9tonnantes, voire exigeantes. C\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al que le pianiste s\u2019est fait conna\u00eetre en tant que plus jeune laur\u00e9at du Concours OSM. \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019ai tellement de souvenirs, se rappelle-t-il.
