On s\u2019ennuie \u00e0 peine des images durant les quelques s\u00e9quences de danse baroque fran\u00e7aise. Ce double album offre plut\u00f4t \u00e0 l\u2019auditeur l\u2019occasion de se d\u00e9lecter d\u2019une voix et d\u2019un jeu orchestral de grande qualit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plat\u00e9e<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> raconte l\u2019histoire d\u2019une nymphe \u00e0 l\u2019apparence d\u2019une grenouille qui croit que Jupiter, le roi des dieux, est amoureux d\u2019elle. Les mises en sc\u00e8ne de cet op\u00e9ra peuvent \u00eatre assez exag\u00e9r\u00e9es en ce qui concerne les costumes et la gestuelle comique, mais cette version audio de Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles Spectacles restitue tous les aspects comiques et \u00e9motionnels de l\u2019\u0153uvre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Valentin Tournet dirige l\u2019orchestre d\u2019\u00e9poque, La Chapelle Harmonique. On ne saurait trop insister sur la contribution de ces musiciens \u00e0 l\u2019enregistrement, car ils nous font vivre les hauts et les bas de Plat\u00e9e. D\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res notes, l\u2019auditeur est instantan\u00e9ment transport\u00e9 dans la France du 18<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> si\u00e8cle. Dans son interpr\u00e9tation, l\u2019orchestre exprime la royaut\u00e9, le romantisme, le drame et la vivacit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019\u00ab\u00a0Orage\u00a0\u00bb de l\u2019acte 1 offre un excellent exemple des capacit\u00e9s de l\u2019orchestre. Il d\u00e9peint le chaos par des passages de cordes acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9s et des changements dynamiques soudains. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapelleharmonique.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Chapelle Harmonique<\/a> rel\u00e8ve ses d\u00e9fis avec une ma\u00eetrise magistrale de ses instruments. La confiance qui \u00e9mane de cet orchestre est certainement un point fort.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans le r\u00f4le de Plat\u00e9e, le t\u00e9nor Mathias Vidal saisit la gamme des \u00e9motions de la nymphe, du plaisir et de l\u2019espoir \u00e0 l\u2019humiliation. Vidal interpr\u00e8te son texte en fran\u00e7ais avec une belle fluidit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le t\u00e9nor Zachary Wilder, dans les r\u00f4les de Thespis et de Mercure, est \u00e0 l\u2019origine de certains des meilleurs moments de l\u2019enregistrement. Sa voix agr\u00e9able et harmonieuse est particuli\u00e8rement impressionnante lorsqu\u2019il dirige le ch\u0153ur dans un toast \u00e0 Bacchus, le dieu du vin et du plaisir.
