{"id":1086797,"date":"2025-06-04T14:48:31","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T18:48:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/myscena.org\/?p=1086797"},"modified":"2025-06-04T14:48:31","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T18:48:31","slug":"critique-de-disque-rebelle-hommage-a-celestine-galli-marie-eva-zaicik","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/myscena.org\/fr\/pascal-blanchet\/critique-de-disque-rebelle-hommage-a-celestine-galli-marie-eva-zaicik\/","title":{"rendered":"Critique de disque | <em>Rebelle: Hommage \u00e0 C\u00e9lestine Galli-Mari\u00e9<\/em>, Eva Za\u00efcik"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p><strong><em>Rebelle: Hommage \u00e0 C\u00e9lestine Galli-Mari\u00e9<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eva Za\u00efcik, mezzo-soprano; Orchestre national de Lille dirig\u00e9 par Pierre Dumoussaud; Ferdinand Poise, Ambroise Thomas, Georges Bizet, Louis Deff\u00e8s, Jacques Offenbach, Victor Mass\u00e9, Ernest Guiraud, \u00c9mile Paladilhe, Jules Massenet, Albert Grisar, Jules Cohen, compositeurs<\/p>\n<p>Alpha Classics, 2025<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>En cette ann\u00e9e du cent cinquanti\u00e8me anniversaire de la cr\u00e9ation de <em>Carmen<\/em>, le <a href=\"https:\/\/bru-zane.com\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Palazzetto Bru Zane<\/a>, \u00e0 l\u2019origine de tant de beaux projets de red\u00e9couvertes, a eu l\u2019excellente id\u00e9e de s\u2019int\u00e9resser \u00e0 la cr\u00e9atrice du r\u00f4le, C\u00e9lestine Galli-Mari\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Excellente, car cette interpr\u00e8te l\u00e9gendaire a laiss\u00e9 sa marque non seulement sur l\u2019h\u00e9ro\u00efne d\u2019op\u00e9ra la plus connue, mais aussi sur plusieurs autres r\u00f4les importants, \u00e0 commencer par la Mignon d\u2019Ambroise Thomas, tr\u00e8s jou\u00e9e jusqu\u2019au milieu du XX<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle. Elle participe de m\u00eame \u00e0 deux des tentatives de Jacques Offenbach de percer dans des \u0153uvres plus s\u00e9rieuses, <em>Robinson Cruso\u00eb<\/em> en 1867 (Vendredi) et <em>Fantasio<\/em> en 1872 (r\u00f4le-titre).<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019enregistrement r\u00e9serve pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 de sa dur\u00e9e \u00e0 ces titres, mais le reste s\u2019av\u00e8re aussi passionnant. Il permet de d\u00e9couvrir une demi-douzaine de compositeurs inconnus ou oubli\u00e9s n\u00e9s entre 1808 et 1844, donc contemporains de Bizet, Berlioz, Gounod ou Massenet, avec qui ils partagent logiquement de nombreuses caract\u00e9ristiques de style, des mani\u00e8res de traiter la voix et l\u2019orchestre, ayant tous appris leur art Conservatoire de Paris. En les \u00e9coutant aujourd\u2019hui, apr\u00e8s des d\u00e9cennies d\u2019oubli, on ne peut que s\u2019extasier en constatant combien la musique fran\u00e7aise du XIX<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle rec\u00e8le de tr\u00e9sors enfouis.<\/p>\n<p>On peut s\u2019amuser \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir ces compositeurs par ordre d\u00e9croissant d\u2019obscurit\u00e9\u2026 Dans ce cas, plusieurs commenceront certainement par Jules Cohen, auteur de plusieurs \u0153uvres pour la sc\u00e8ne, dont on entend la musique \u2013 pourtant charmante \u2013 probablement pour la premi\u00e8re fois ici.<\/p>\n<p>Charmants aussi, savoureux, voire inspir\u00e9s sont d\u2019autres airs d\u2019op\u00e9ra-comique d\u2019Albert Grisar, Louis Deff\u00e8s ou Ferdinand Poise. Les pi\u00e8ces les plus captivantes nous ont sembl\u00e9 celles d\u2019Ernest Guiraud, grand ami de Bizet, qui se chargea de composer des r\u00e9citatifs pour <em>Carmen<\/em> ainsi qu\u2019une suite d\u2019orchestre. La cavatine de son op\u00e9ra <em>Piccolino<\/em> donne envie d\u2019en entendre davantage. De m\u00eame, la \u00ab\u00a0Mandoline de Zanetto\u00a0\u00bb extraite du <em>Passant<\/em> d\u2019\u00c9mile Paladilhe retient l\u2019attention par son orchestration tr\u00e8s fine et sa m\u00e9lodie envo\u00fbtante.<\/p>\n<p>Il revient \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/evazaicik.com\/\">Eva Za\u00efcik<\/a> de chausser les escarpins de Galli-Mari\u00e9. A-t-elle vraiment une voix comparable \u00e0 celle de sa devanci\u00e8re, dont on a toujours vant\u00e9 le dramatisme intense et qui ne craignait pas les sonorit\u00e9s rauques proches du cri\u00a0? La jeune mezzo fran\u00e7aise se distingue au contraire par un timbre cr\u00e9meux sur toute son \u00e9tendue, peut-\u00eatre un rien uniforme.
