Une rencontre fascinante, \u00e0 faire \u00e0 l\u2019Espace libre, jusqu\u2019au 1<sup>er<\/sup>\u00a0f\u00e9vrier\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/espacelibre.qc.ca\/evenement\/she-and-the-others\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">She and the other(s) &#8211; Espace Libre<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chi Long\u00a0n\u2019est plus \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter\u00a0: la longiligne interpr\u00e8te d\u2019origine vietnamienne a dans\u00e9 pour\u00a0O Vertigo, Marie Chouinard et depuis quelques ann\u00e9es elle a aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 de re remarquables productions de M\u00e9lanie Demers, Virginie Brunelle et Andrea Pe\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p><em>She and the other(s)<\/em> est\u00a0une mani\u00e8re d\u2019autofiction, dans la lign\u00e9e de\u00a0<i>L\u2019entit\u00e9 du double<\/i>\u00a0(2018) \u00e0 propos de l\u2019histoire des\u00a0Soeurs Schmutt, alias les jumelles \u00c9lodie et S\u00e9verine Lombardo, qui c\u00e9l\u00e8brent cette ann\u00e9e 20\u00a0ans de cr\u00e9ations.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9e en Australie de parents vietnamiens, Chi Long revient sur son enfance et ses r\u00eaves de jeune danseuse. Chi Long enfile tour \u00e0 tour ces symboles d\u2019\u00e9poques r\u00e9volues: un ensemble jaune qu\u2019elle a port\u00e9 partout et qui est le seul bon souvenir qu\u2019elle conserve d\u2019un ex, un cat suit noir et ses bottines assorties &#8211; et \u00e0 chaque fois, un tableau s\u2019ouvre, mettant en sc\u00e8ne un moment de la vie de la myst\u00e9rieuse interpr\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<p>Chi Long \u00e9voque aussi la guerre du Vietnam, comment celle-ci a marqu\u00e9 ses parents et, par ricochet la sienne.
