Ces initiatives, tr\u00e8s peu r\u00e9pandues dans le monde lyrique, auront permis \u00e0 des artistes de continuer \u00e0 travailler. Par ailleurs, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois s\u2019est fait un devoir et une fiert\u00e9 de ne pr\u00e9senter que de nouvelles productions con\u00e7ues et r\u00e9alis\u00e9es \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec. C\u2019est tout un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me artistique qu\u2019il a ainsi stimul\u00e9!<\/p>\n<p>Aussi, il a permis au public de sortir des sentiers battus et de d\u00e9couvrir des \u0153uvres accessibles du r\u00e9pertoire, mais rarement ou jamais pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au Qu\u00e9bec. Il a su attirer la cr\u00e8me des talents internationaux et a permis \u00e0 de nombreux artistes d\u2019ici, tant des chanteurs et chanteuses que des concepteurs et conceptrices d\u2019exprimer leur talent et leur cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 dans des productions dont l\u2019audace et l\u2019excellence ont \u00e9t\u00e9 applaudies par le public et la critique.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, le Festival d\u2019op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec, \u00e0 la plus grande satisfaction de la Ville de Qu\u00e9bec, est devenu la seule vitrine de l\u2019art lyrique en fran\u00e7ais en Am\u00e9rique du Nord et le berceau de la cr\u00e9ation de nouveaux op\u00e9ras de compositeurs et librettistes du Qu\u00e9bec. Ce faisant, il a permis que l\u2019op\u00e9ra devienne une forme d\u2019art qui nous ressemble et qui appartienne r\u00e9ellement \u00e0 la nation qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise.
