Au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Nouveau Monde, jusqu\u2019au 13 octobre\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tnm.qc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/tnm.qc.ca\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9778028757MsoNormal\">Apr\u00e8s avoir accueilli les spectateurs du TNM dans ce qui sert de hall d\u2019entr\u00e9e en attendant la fin des travaux, le nouveau co-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et artistique du TNM Geoffrey Gaqu\u00e8re a rappel\u00e9 avec \u00e9l\u00e9gance le leg immense de Loraine Pintal, qui a dirig\u00e9 le TNM pendant 32 ans. Car il y a un peu de l\u2019ancienne directrice artistique dans ce magnifique projet. Zo\u00e9 Tremblay-Bianco (debout) est une des incarnations de Suzanne Meloche.<\/p><\/div>\n<h5>L\u2019essence d\u2019une rebelle<\/h5>\n<p class=\"yiv9778028757MsoNormal\">Il a fallu la mort de Suzanne Meloche, la grand-m\u00e8re peintre et po\u00e9tesse d\u2019Ana\u00efs Barbeau-Lavalette, pour que l\u2019autrice et cin\u00e9aste se lance sur la piste de sa myst\u00e9rieuse a\u00efeule qu\u2019elle n\u2019avait pas connue et qui avait pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 l\u2019art et la libert\u00e9, abandonnant ses deux tr\u00e8s jeunes enfants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9778028757MsoNormal\">La narration de la vie de la peintre automatiste, \u00e9prise d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance et int\u00e8gre au point qu\u2019elle refusa de signer le manifeste du Refus global, permet d\u2019illustrer les grandes \u00e9poques artistiques et sociales du Qu\u00e9bec et des \u00c9tats-Unis. Le personnage de Claude Gauvreau est<span class=\"BxUVEf ILfuVd\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"hgKElc\"> d&#8217;ailleurs \u00e9voqu\u00e9, colossal (<\/span><\/span>Olivia Palacci) et on retrouve dans cette mise en sc\u00e8ne un peu de sa d\u00e9mesure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9778028757MsoNormal\">Le d\u00e9cor est un personnage. Il fait penser \u00e0 un immense gradin blanc qui monte jusqu\u2019aux combles, mis en \u00e9vidence dans un grand cadre assorti (Simon Guilbault). Certains \u00e9clairages (Martin Labrecque) accentuent le rendu pictural des mouvements des com\u00e9diens et l\u2019ensemble des interpr\u00e8tes s\u2019adresse directement au public, \u00e9vitant tout dialogue. Les costumes (Julie Charland) qu\u2019ils endossent les transforment et les accessoires de Julie Measroch les font ressembler \u00e0 des pigments sur une toile. L\u2019effet est saisissant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9778028757MsoNormal\">Zo\u00e9 Tremblay-Bianco, Eveline G\u00e9linas, Marie France Lambert et Louise Laprade incarnent successivement Suzanne Meloche au fil de sa vie. Comme en \u00e9quilibre sur les diff\u00e9rentes marches de l\u2019escalier, 17 interpr\u00e8tes forment un ch\u0153ur. Sur la sc\u00e8ne, \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du cadre, Catherine De L\u00e9an raconte la grande histoire de la peintre po\u00e8te &#8211; et l&#8217;ensemble des com\u00e9diens et des com\u00e9diennes brulent tous d\u2019un feu et d\u2019une intention authentiques et rares.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9778028757MsoNormal\">Avec la mise en sc\u00e8ne radicale d&#8217;Alexia B\u00fcrger, <i>La femme qui fuit\u00a0<\/i>commence\u00a0de fa\u00e7on magistrale la saison du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Nouveau Monde. Un spectacle \u00e0 ne pas vraiment pas manquer.
