Leibowitz est un jeune Isra\u00e9lien jouant Bart\u00f3k comme un cousin \u00e9loign\u00e9, plein d&#8217;expressions famili\u00e8res et de secrets de famille. Son interpr\u00e9tation de <em>Contrasts<\/em> est v\u00e9ritablement contrast\u00e9e et donne aux airs folkloriques de Bart\u00f3k une tournure hassidique, transformant la raideur du Carnegie Hall en une \u00ab\u00a0<em>Chassene Tanz<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (type de danse de mariage)<em>. <\/em>Ses partenaires dans cet acte de subversion sont le pianiste australien Joseph Havlat et la violoniste fran\u00e7aise Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux, formant un m\u00e9li-m\u00e9lo musical londonien qui a en quelque sorte surv\u00e9cu au Brexit. Quoi qu&#8217;il en soit, les contrastes n\u2019auront plus jamais la m\u00eame r\u00e9sonance.<\/p>\n<p>Les autres morceaux de cet album captivant sont deux danses anciennes de Gy\u00f6rgy Ligeti, tr\u00e8s charg\u00e9es et \u00e9rotiques, une sonate pour clarinette tout \u00e0 fait magique de 1945 du Juif polonais Mieczys\u0142aw Weinberg et une multitude de courtes pi\u00e8ces de Witold <em>Lutos\u0142awski<\/em> et de Dmitri Chostakovitch. Quelqu&#8217;un s&#8217;est amus\u00e9 \u00e0 assembler ce programme.
