Il y vit en exil depuis.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Les deux \u0153uvres qui composent cet album d\u00e9peignent un compositeur confront\u00e9 aux forces de l\u2019histoire et de la fatalit\u00e9 qui s\u2019entrechoquent \u00e0 sa porte. <em>Widmung<\/em> se pr\u00e9sente comme une sorte de concerto pour violon \u00e9crit pour Gidon Kremer en 1990, \u00e0 l\u2019heure o\u00f9 l\u2019Union sovi\u00e9tique s\u2019\u00e9croulait. La femme de Silvestrov, Larissa Bondarenko, est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e \u00e0 la m\u00eame \u00e9poque que la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 Munich. L\u2019effet est \u00e0 la fois inqui\u00e9tant et rassurant. Le violon va et vient, \u00e0 la recherche de sens et de subsistance. L\u2019oreille est attir\u00e9e dans son mouvement p\u00e8lerin, retenant une phrase et anticipant la suivante. Pendant trois quarts d\u2019heure, le concerto cr\u00e9e un espace m\u00e9ditatif, un abri aussi s\u00fbr qu\u2019illusoire. Un \u00e9pisode tendre du deuxi\u00e8me mouvement envisage tout ce qui aurait pu \u00eatre. Le soliste \u00e9vocateur est Janusz Wawrowski.
