Photo: Angelo Barsetti<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Angela Konrad souhaite accueillir des projets de grande envergure, pr\u00e9sentant des d\u00e9fis techniques importants, et elle \u0153uvre en intelligence avec des institutions europ\u00e9ennes afin d\u2019instaurer une nouvelle coh\u00e9rence dans la programmation. \u00ab Le r\u00e9seautage est important au niveau qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, canadien et international pour conjuguer nos forces, car je veux travailler en continuit\u00e9 avec des artistes importants que je veux montrer plus d\u2019une fois. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h4>De grands textes<\/h4>\n<p>En septembre, elle reprenait <i>Tableau final de l\u2019amour<\/i> (FTA-2023), l\u2019\u00e9poustouflante adaptation du roman de Larry Tremblay sur la vie du peintre Francis Bacon. \u00ab\u00a0La radicalit\u00e9 de la mise en sc\u00e8ne s\u2019est construite en un temps record avec les interpr\u00e8tes, mais elle est en ad\u00e9quation avec ce que je per\u00e7ois du contexte politique ambiant.\u00a0\u00bb Angela Konrad retournera bient\u00f4t \u00e0 Shakespeare (\u00ab\u00a0o\u00f9 la po\u00e9sie rejoint le politique\u00a0\u00bb), mais pour l\u2019instant, ce sont les r\u00e9p\u00e9titions des diff\u00e9rents volets du tr\u00e8s rock <i>Vernon Subutex<\/i> de Virginie Despentes qui l\u2019occupent\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Sans grand texte, on ne fait rien.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Ayant aussi \u00e9tudi\u00e9 en litt\u00e9rature et en arts visuels, Angela Konrad accorde une importance capitale au choix des textes. \u00ab\u00a0Comme dramaturge, je deviens l\u2019auteure d\u2019un langage sc\u00e9nique et j\u2019essaye d\u2019\u00eatre fid\u00e8le aux textes que j\u2019adapte, afin d\u2019en saisir la pulsion, la beaut\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb Un coup de c\u0153ur veut trouver sa r\u00e9alisation rapidement et la machine de la production th\u00e9\u00e2trale oblige \u00e0 faire des concessions difficiles dans le contexte financier actuel \u2013 il devient ardu de donner corps \u00e0 ses d\u00e9sirs de cr\u00e9ation.<\/p>\n<h4>Le chaos<\/h4>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Je travaille sur des textes d\u2019opposition et de contraste qui am\u00e8nent parfois aussi des collisions d\u2019ambiances contraires, mais le chaos, qui intervient de mani\u00e8re brutale, n\u2019est jamais gratuit \u2013 je le lis dans les textes et il traduit dans une autre g\u00e9om\u00e9trie un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne \u00e0 observer, lui donnant une nouvelle perspective.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Angela Konrad s\u2019int\u00e9resse aux angles morts, \u00e0 la part d\u2019ombre de l\u2019humain.
