Le style pianistique de Gaudet garantit toujours une ma\u00eetrise et une expressivit\u00e9 du plus haut degr\u00e9. Rares sont les pianistes qui savent donner des preuves de clart\u00e9 et de sobri\u00e9t\u00e9 tout en transmettant \u00e0 l\u2019auditeur un caract\u00e8re chaleureux.<\/p>\n<p>Le jeu de Gaudet brille d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but, dans le <i>Moderato<\/i> de la D. 610. L\u2019<i>Adagio<\/i> offre un moment de grande intimit\u00e9, tandis que l\u2019<i>Allegretto<\/i> est marqu\u00e9 par des contrastes expressifs. Les premier et troisi\u00e8me mouvements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e9t\u00e9s par Gaudet lui-m\u00eame, avec l\u2019appui des \u00e9ditions de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence Henle par Paul Badura-Skoda et Wiener Urtext par Martino Tirimo.<\/p>\n<p>Les <i>12 Danses allemandes<\/i> entra\u00eenent le public dans un univers de salon extr\u00eamement raffin\u00e9. La musicalit\u00e9 de Gaudet donne vie \u00e0 cette atmosph\u00e8re. Les danses nos 2 et 5 m\u00e9ritent d\u2019\u00eatre signal\u00e9es, car elles repr\u00e9sentent deux moments de grande dramaturgie et d\u2019expressivit\u00e9 musicale, dans un contexte musical par ailleurs beaucoup plus l\u00e9ger. L\u2019album se termine par les c\u00e9l\u00e8bres <i>Impromptus<\/i>. Le premier (en <i>do<\/i> mineur) est un morceau de dramaturgie beethov\u00e9nienne\u00a0: aust\u00e8re, statique et d\u2019un grand effet. Le deuxi\u00e8me (en <i>mi <\/i>b\u00e9mol majeur) est d\u2019une volatilit\u00e9 et d\u2019une l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 rappelant Mendelssohn. Le troisi\u00e8me (en <i>sol <\/i>b\u00e9mol majeur) est l\u2019une des pi\u00e8ces les plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres du r\u00e9pertoire pianistique\u00a0: Gaudet le joue avec une grande sobri\u00e9t\u00e9, sans se laisser aller \u00e0 un romantisme inutile qui aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9plac\u00e9. Le dernier (en <i>la<\/i> b\u00e9mol majeur) est \u00e9galement empreint de la plus pure sobri\u00e9t\u00e9.
