Sur la pochette de l&#8217;album intitul\u00e9<a href=\"https:\/\/indesenscalliope.com\/boutique\/les-chemins-de-lamour\/\"><em> Les chemins de l&#8217;amour<\/em><\/a>, une photo de lui montre un homme riant aux \u00e9clats, satisfait de ce qu\u2019il a.<\/p>\n<p>La musique interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e ici date des ann\u00e9es 1940, ce qui n&#8217;est pas la d\u00e9cennie la plus heureuse, mais Poulenc avait l&#8217;art de d\u00e9fier l\u2019actualit\u00e9. Catholique fervent et homosexuel imp\u00e9nitent, il a \u00e9crit trois op\u00e9ras et un ballet, mais peu de choses \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle \u2212 pas de symphonie ni de concerto, \u00e0 moins qu\u2019on ne compte un truc glauque pour orgue, timbales et cordes datant de 1939.<\/p>\n<p>Ici, il engage une conversation confidentielle entre un violon et un piano, un piano et un violoncelle, et ce que l&#8217;on appelle un \u00ab pipeau \u00bb, qui \u00e9voque un laboratoire m\u00e9dical. Poulenc ne nourrit nulle part de sombres pens\u00e9es. Les musiciens \u2212 la violoniste Tatiana Samuil, le violoncelliste Justus Grimm et le pianiste David Lively \u2212 restent l\u00e9gers et nostalgiques. La pi\u00e8ce-titre <em>Chemins de l&#8217;Amour<\/em> est un air de Poulenc \u00e9crit pour un concert d&#8217;Yvonne Printemps en d\u00e9cembre. Qui pourrait savoir Paris \u00e9tait sous occupation allemande ? Lang Lang parle peu fran\u00e7ais et cela se voit.<\/p>\n<p>Sa lecture de la Pavane de Ravel pr\u00e9sente un toucher uniforme qui exclut toute subtilit\u00e9 \u00e9motionnelle. Il en r\u00e9sulte de grands gestes et peu de fantaisie. Une suite de Debussy, jou\u00e9e avec sa femme Gina Alice, est plus forte, mais n&#8217;\u00e9voque pas mieux les sentiments profonds. \u00c0 partir de l\u00e0, c&#8217;est la d\u00e9gringolade, avec Faur\u00e9, Delibes, Louise Farrenc, Lily Boulanger, Tailleferre et plus encore (ou encore moins).<\/p>\n<p>Lang Lang se trouve actuellement dans ce champ de mines moral que l&#8217;on appelle le milieu de carri\u00e8re. Il sait comment il s&#8217;est retrouv\u00e9 l\u00e0, mais n&#8217;a aucune id\u00e9e de la direction \u00e0 prendre. Cet album repr\u00e9sente un d\u00e9faut de boussole \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle industrielle. Qu\u2019importe : vous allez entendre ces airs dans les ascenseurs d\u2019h\u00f4tels pour le reste de votre vie.
