L\u2019album comprend 17 titres arrang\u00e9s pour ch\u0153ur par un \u00e9ventail de compositeurs canadiens talentueux et interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s par des membres des meilleurs ch\u0153urs de la province.<\/p>\n<p>Le lieu o\u00f9 l\u2019album a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 offre une quantit\u00e9 consid\u00e9rable de r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration, ce qui \u00e9l\u00e8ve la musique. C\u2019est le piano qui en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie le plus\u00a0: sa r\u00e9sonance invite le ch\u0153ur \u00e0 se donner \u00e0 fond et \u00e0 remplir v\u00e9ritablement la salle de ses voix. Si la m\u00e9lodie et l\u2019harmonie sont claires, le texte est parfois difficile \u00e0 distinguer en raison de l\u2019acoustique. Combin\u00e9 au bruit blanc faible et constant que l\u2019on entend tout au long de l\u2019enregistrement en direct, l\u2019album pr\u00e9sente quelques petits probl\u00e8mes techniques li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019espace, qui sont pardonnables vu la merveilleuse r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration qu\u2019il offre.<\/p>\n<p>Cette amplification n\u2019emp\u00eache pas les basses et les sopranos de produire des sons uniques, comme on peut l\u2019entendre dans <i>Sea Fever<\/i>. Il en va de m\u00eame pour <i>Spanish Fisherman<\/i>, <i>Shipyard<\/i> et <i>Skippers &amp; Mates<\/i>, qui font tous appel aux voix basses pour \u00e9tablir la structure vivante d\u2019appel et de r\u00e9ponse des chants de marins. Ces derniers comportent des battements de mains et de pieds rythmiques qui sont contr\u00f4l\u00e9s pour ne pas dominer les chanteurs.
