Le concert aura lieu le <strong>mardi 27 f\u00e9vrier<\/strong>, \u00e0 <strong>19h30<\/strong>, \u00e0 la <strong>salle Pierre-Mercure. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019OCM accueille \u00e0 nouveau la violoniste mohawk\u00a0<strong>Tara-Louise Montour<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la\u00a0<strong>premi\u00e8re nord-am\u00e9ricaine\u00a0<\/strong>de\u00a0<strong><em>Ph\u0153nix<\/em><\/strong>, du compositeur montr\u00e9alais\u00a0<strong>Louis Babin<\/strong>, concerto pour violon qui incarne la force et l\u2019optimisme propres aux nouveaux d\u00e9parts. <strong><em>Verkl\u00e4rte Nacht<\/em> <\/strong>(La Nuit transfigur\u00e9e) de<strong> Schoenberg <\/strong>propose pour sa part un voyage marquant, charg\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9motions.<\/p>\n<p>S\u2019appuyant sur le folklore canadien, le ballet\u00a0<strong><em>L\u2019Oiseau Ph\u00e9nix<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0du compositeur qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois\u00a0<strong>Clermont P\u00e9pin<\/strong>\u00a0raconte l\u2019histoire d\u2019un fils d\u00e9vou\u00e9, r\u00e9compens\u00e9 pour sa fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 par deux m\u00e9tamorphoses\u00a0: celle d\u2019un ph\u00e9nix en magnifique fianc\u00e9e, et celle d\u2019un jeune en adulte. L\u2019OCM est rapidement devenu l\u2019un des orchestres de chambre les mieux \u00e9tablis au Canada, cumulant les tourn\u00e9es sur cinq continents, les enregistrements et les apparitions r\u00e9guli\u00e8res \u00e0 la radio et \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision. <strong>Boris Brott<\/strong>, O.C., O.Q., l\u2019un des chefs d\u2019orchestre les plus r\u00e9put\u00e9s au Canada, a dirig\u00e9 l\u2019OCM de 2000 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa mort en avril\u00a02022. En juillet\u00a02023, maestro <strong>Jacques Lacombe<\/strong>, C.M., C.Q. devient le troisi\u00e8me directeur artistique et chef principal de l\u2019orchestre. L\u2019OCM est un ensemble vibrant, novateur et flexible, compos\u00e9 des meilleurs musiciens professionnels de la ville, qui pr\u00e9sente ses concerts \u00e0 longueur d&#8217;ann\u00e9e et est dor\u00e9navant en r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 la salle Pierre-Mercure.
