En tant que clavi\u00e9riste, il s&#8217;est fait conna\u00eetre il y a 33 ans en quittant la sc\u00e8ne lors des demi-finales du concours de Leeds parce qu&#8217;il estimait qu&#8217;il ne jouait pas assez bien. Depuis, il a fait preuve d&#8217;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 et de discr\u00e9tion, \u00e9chappant aux exigences d&#8217;une carri\u00e8re publique. Sa<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Piotr_Anderszewski\"> fiche Wiki<\/a> n\u2019est plus actualis\u00e9e depuis une dizaine d&#8217;ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>J&#8217;ai donc \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9\u00e7u de trouver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.warnerclassics.com\/release\/bartok-janacek-szymanowski\">ce disque<\/a> accompagn\u00e9 d&#8217;une courte d\u00e9claration \u00e0 l&#8217;exactitude douteuse : \u00ab Les \u0153uvres enregistr\u00e9es sur cet album portent en elles un esprit de r\u00e9bellion \u00bb. C&#8217;est inexact : aucun de ces compositeurs n&#8217;\u00e9tait vraiment rebelle, que ce soit sur le plan politique ou cr\u00e9atif. Anderszewski poursuit : \u00ab Il n&#8217;y a pas de place ici pour la stylisation ou le d\u00e9corum ; ils puisent dans les racines m\u00eames de la musique \u00bb. Cela est plus juste.<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re s\u00e9rie de cinq pi\u00e8ces de <em>Sur un sentier recouvert<\/em> de <a href=\"https:\/\/myscena.org\/fr\/norman-lebrecht\/lhebdo-lebrecht-1919-coda-janacek-boulanger-debussy-elgar-delphian\/\">Jan\u00e1\u010dek<\/a> est pour le moins erratique. Anderszewski ne parvient pas \u00e0 saisir l&#8217;enjouement et la m\u00e9lancolie du compositeur, sa contradiction essentielle. Les accents sonnent faux. En cas de doute, il augmente le volume au lieu de trouver la tranquillit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Les mazurkas de Szymanowski et les bagatelles de Bart\u00f3k sont en revanche immacul\u00e9es. La sympathie du pianiste pour ces sons est irr\u00e9sistible et hypnotique. Tr\u00e8s peu d&#8217;interpr\u00e8tes ont un tel toucher en filigrane, distinguant d\u00e9licatement des cultures voisines qui se parlent peu. L&#8217;expression \u00ab magistral \u00bb ne suffit pas \u00e0 rendre compte de la qualit\u00e9 du jeu.<\/p>\n<p>Un coup d&#8217;\u0153il aux petits caract\u00e8res m&#8217;apprend que ces derniers morceaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s l&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/myscena.org\/joseph-so\/concert-review-stunning-finale-to-staatskapelle-berlins-koerner-hall-series\/\">Berlin<\/a>, et le Jan\u00e1\u010dek il y a sept ans \u00e0 Varsovie. Il doit bien y avoir une raison pour que ce soit rest\u00e9 si longtemps in\u00e9dit.
