Ce morceau refl\u00e8te bien la personnalit\u00e9 novatrice de Vidal. La partie de violon est pro\u00e9minente sans \u00eatre \u00e9crasante, et ses notes douces et glissantes contrastent bien avec les m\u00e9lodies plus complexes et brutes de la guitare. Ce morceau \u00e9tablit une norme pour le reste de l\u2019album\u00a0: quel que soit le tempo ou la fr\u00e9quence des notes et quel que soit le nombre d\u2019instruments pr\u00e9sents, les auditeurs peuvent clairement entendre Valois.<\/p>\n<p>Valois d\u00e9montre son talent de soliste dans plusieurs de ses interpr\u00e9tations, agr\u00e9ment\u00e9es de bruits de cordes ambiants, de sons de bois glissant et de ses propres inhalations, qui transforment l\u2019album en une exp\u00e9rience personnelle et priv\u00e9e. <i>Les<\/i> <i>Trois contredanses<\/i> d\u00e9montrent sa palette tonale \u2212 les changements soudains donnent \u00e0 son jeu une allure improvis\u00e9e, spontan\u00e9e mais contr\u00f4l\u00e9e. Les duos guitare-violon qui suivent montrent l\u2019importance du contr\u00f4le du volume dans le style de Valois.
