Ce dernier est actuellement \u00e0 la t\u00eate du Los Angeles Philharmonic et de l\u2019Op\u00e9ra de Paris, mais il s\u2019installera bient\u00f4t \u00e0 New York pour occuper le poste de directeur musical du New York Philharmonic. Quant \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re, elle a fait parler d\u2019elle au d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e en jouant les quatre concertos de Rachmaninov et la <i>Rhapsodie<\/i> de Paganini au cours d\u2019un m\u00eame concert. Partout o\u00f9 elle se produit, elle fait salle comble et re\u00e7oit des ovations.<\/p>\n<p>Wang a enregistr\u00e9 le <i>Concerto pour piano n\u00b0 2<\/i> de Rachmaninov et la<i> Rhapsodie <\/i>en 2011 pour Deutsche Grammophon, avec Abbado et l\u2019Orchestre de chambre Mahler. Deux ans plus tard, elle a enregistr\u00e9 le troisi\u00e8me concerto de Rachmaninov avec Dudamel et l\u2019orchestre symphonique Sim\u00f3n Bolivar. \u00c0 ce stade, elle est r\u00e9put\u00e9e \u00e0 juste titre pour ses interpr\u00e9tations de Rachmaninov, et ces nouveaux enregistrements ne feront qu\u2019enrichir son impressionnant catalogue. La technique de Wang est presque indescriptible : elle est ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nale. Il est rare d\u2019entendre Rachmaninov jou\u00e9 \u00e0 une telle vitesse et avec une telle clart\u00e9. L\u2019orchestre joue \u00e9galement \u00e0 merveille. Cela dit, les points culminants de ces interpr\u00e9tations n\u2019ont pas fonctionn\u00e9 et Wang a sembl\u00e9 avoir du mal \u00e0 acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la m\u00e9lancolie qui impr\u00e8gne ces pi\u00e8ces \u2212 avec peu d\u2019aide de la part de Dudamel. En cons\u00e9quence, ces interpr\u00e9tations n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e9morables.
