Au XVIIIe si\u00e8cle, c\u2019est sur cette base que Haydn a compos\u00e9 68 \u0153uvres qui ont fait de lui le p\u00e8re du quatuor \u00e0 cordes. En 2023, le nouvel album du Rosebud String Quartet pr\u00e9sente une interpr\u00e9tation impeccable de deux de ces chefs-d\u2019\u0153uvre, aussi \u00e9difiants qu\u2019inspirants.<\/p>\n<p>Le talent du quatuor r\u00e9side dans sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 moduler le volume et \u00e0 se synchroniser dans les quatuors \u00ab\u00a0Lobkowitz\u00a0\u00bb de Haydn. Les violons s\u2019activent et se retirent juste au bon moment pour se faire entendre de l\u2019auditeur tout en laissant beaucoup d\u2019espace au riche violoncelle. L\u2019alto fait le lien entre les deux, rendant la transition entre les notes aigu\u00ebs et graves naturelle et fluide. Les musiciens sont confiants dans leurs instruments, ce qui permet \u00e0 l\u2019optimisme de la musique de Haydn de briller.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est \u00e9galement le cas lorsque Rosebud d\u00e9cide de passer au sixi\u00e8me quintette de Mozart, avec l\u2019aide de Steven Dann \u00e0 l\u2019alto. C\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour \u00eatre la derni\u00e8re grande composition de chambre de Mozart, ce quintette poursuit le ton enjou\u00e9 de l\u2019album.
