Outre des noms tr\u00e8s connus comme Dvo\u0159\u00e1k, Smetana et Jan\u00e1\u010dek, il y en a de moins connus, comme Josef Suk et Vit\u011bzslava Kapr\u00e1lov\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Comme le titre l\u2019indique, la vie et les r\u00eaves s\u2019entrem\u00ealent dans cet enregistrement. Kay fait preuve de lyrisme et de drame, mais aussi de narration intime et d\u2019autor\u00e9flexion, ce qui convient parfaitement au r\u00e9pertoire choisi. L\u2019album oscille entre m\u00e9lancolie et nostalgie, mais la principale caract\u00e9ristique de l\u2019enregistrement est sa qualit\u00e9 narrative. Il s\u2019ouvre sur la <i>Sonate<\/i> de Jan\u00e1\u010dek. Ses deux mouvements, <i>Pr\u00e9monition<\/i> et <i>Mort<\/i>, \u00e9voluent entre espoir et fatalit\u00e9, entre action lyrique et acceptation \u00e9mouvante. La premi\u00e8re pi\u00e8ce de Suk est <i>Longing<\/i>, tir\u00e9e du <i>Printemps<\/i>, op. 22a, un chant d\u2019amour que Kay rend vraiment poignant. La partie la plus marquante du disque r\u00e9side dans <i>Zivotem a snem<\/i> (R\u00eaves et souvenirs) du m\u00eame compositeur, qui donne son titre \u00e0 l\u2019album. \u0152uvre d\u00e9finie comme \u00ab\u00a0journal intime d\u2019un artiste\u00a0\u00bb, elle s\u2019ouvre sur un <i>Allegretto moderato<\/i> rythm\u00e9 et gracieux, qui rappelle quelque peu les <i>Valses nobles et sentimentales<\/i> de Ravel. La musique du compositeur tch\u00e8que a une valeur esth\u00e9tique incontestable, et il faut en dire autant des <i>Pr\u00e9ludes d\u2019avril<\/i>, opus 13, de Vit\u011bzslava Kapr\u00e1lov\u00e1. Le disque se termine par la <i>Polka en la mineur<\/i> des <i>Danses tch\u00e8ques<\/i> de Smetana, qui met en \u00e9vidence une autre caract\u00e9ristique de cet enregistrement\u00a0: une certaine sensualit\u00e9, rendue par le son de Kay d\u2019une grande douceur et gr\u00e2ce.
