Les notes discographiques de l\u2019interpr\u00e8te, qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 publi\u00e9 une \u00e9dition critique des 35 sonates du compositeur en plusieurs volumes aux \u00e9ditions Walhall, nous permet d\u2019appr\u00e9cier un peu plus cette musique m\u00e9connue du grand public.<\/p>\n<p>La <em>Sonate en mi mineur<\/em>, ABV 37, \u00e9meut surtout par son deuxi\u00e8me mouvement, notamment par ses dissonances marqu\u00e9es, tandis que les premier et troisi\u00e8me sont tr\u00e8s d\u00e9monstratifs dans un style d\u2019ouverture \u00e0 la fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n<p>Le <em>Duo de violoncelle en fa majeur<\/em>, ABV 48, a une saveur particuli\u00e8re qui le rend tr\u00e8s attrayant \u00e0 \u00e9couter\u2026 et \u00e0 jouer\u00a0! De toute \u00ad\u00e9vidence, Elinor Frey et sa coll\u00e8gue Catherine Jones ont eu \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de plaisir \u00e0 se r\u00e9pondre et \u00e0 croiser leurs lignes. Il en va de m\u00eame pour le premier mouvement enjou\u00e9 du <em>Duetto en sol majeur<\/em>, ABV 47. L\u2019euphonie qui en r\u00e9sulte plaira \u00e0 tout amateur de musique ancienne et plus encore \u00e0 ceux qui aiment les sonorit\u00e9s riches du violoncelle.<\/p>\n<p>En guise de conclusion, la <em>Sonate VI en do mineur<\/em>, ABV 45, nous permet d\u2019appr\u00e9cier une fois de plus le talent de m\u00e9lodiste de Dall\u2019Abaco dans des \u00e9changes toujours aussi nourris entre les deux violoncelles, accompagn\u00e9s ici par le th\u00e9orbe de Michele Pasotti auquel s\u2019ajoute, dans le dernier mouvement, le clavecin de Federica Bianchi.
