L&#8217;Union sovi\u00e9tique, dans sa derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e de d\u00e9sint\u00e9gration, \u00e9tait l&#8217;endroit id\u00e9al pour pr\u00eacher ses doctrines loufoques.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1013642 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/John-Cage-album-cover.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"272\" height=\"242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/John-Cage-album-cover.jpg 500w, https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/John-Cage-album-cover-300x267.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 272px) 100vw, 272px\" \/>Cage a rencontr\u00e9 un jeune pianiste, Alexei Lyubimov, qui est devenu un ap\u00f4tre instantan\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0Nous buvions de la vodka et mangions des pissenlits\u00a0\u00bb, se souvient Lyubimov. Il est subjugu\u00e9 par <em>Four Walls<\/em>, une \u0153uvre pour piano et voix occasionnelle, cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour un ballet de Merce Cunningham.<\/p>\n<p>La musique, semblable \u00e0 une transe, \u00e9volue par degr\u00e9s imperceptibles vers la transcendance. La voix, lorsqu&#8217;elle se fait entendre de fa\u00e7on distante au d\u00e9but du deuxi\u00e8me acte, s&#8217;immisce \u00e0 peine dans le sentiment statique de bien-\u00eatre vague qu&#8217;a suscit\u00e9 le gourou Cage.<\/p>\n<p>Tir\u00e9 d&#8217;une performance tardive dans un festival, l&#8217;admirable Lyubimov joue <em>Four Walls<\/em> avec une d\u00e9votion immersive. Au bout d&#8217;un moment, l&#8217;auditeur perd toute notion du temps et en est reconnaissant. Les murs du titre sont d\u00e9not\u00e9s par leur absence.
