Son travail comme compositeur de musique de film l\u2019a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 participer \u00e0 des projets comme <em>Up We Soar <\/em>(2020) de Yan Ma et <em>Finding Manny <\/em>(2020) de Kacey Kox, mais <em>Journey Through Night <\/em>repr\u00e9sente un tout autre d\u00e9fi. Sans effets visuels \u00e0 accompagner, il doit g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une ambiance uniquement par la musique tout en rendant accessibles des compositeurs cana- diens contemporains.<\/p>\n<p>Pour un premier album, le quatuor montre d\u00e9j\u00e0 qu\u2019il n\u2019est pas du genre \u00e0 reculer devant un tel d\u00e9fi. La pi\u00e8ce <em>Victims of Eagles <\/em>compos\u00e9e par Elizabeth Raum s\u2019ouvre sur une note calme qui devient tr\u00e8s vite d\u00e9form\u00e9e et douloureuse en \u00e9voquant l\u2019image d\u2019un combat contre des pens\u00e9es funestes qui finit par \u00eatre gagn\u00e9. Le froid glacial de la pi\u00e8ce suivante, <em>Dialectics <\/em>de Daniel Mehdizadeh, sugg\u00e8re par contre qu\u2019un tel combat devra \u00eatre men\u00e9 \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9 : la guerre contre le mal est sans fin. De l\u2019\u00e9nergie d\u00e9bordante de <em>for Mor <\/em>de M.
