Le guitariste Pascal Valois aborde le <em>Barden-Kl\u00e4nge, <\/em>op. 13 de Mertz dans une s\u00e9rie de cinq \u0153uvres \u00e0 tempo rubato tr\u00e8s expressives et exigeantes sur le plan technique. Sa virtuosit\u00e9 s\u2019exprime pleinement dans la deuxi\u00e8me moiti\u00e9 de <em>Tarentelle: Pi\u00f9 Allegro <\/em>et dans l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de <em>Fingals-Hohle:<\/em> <em>Maestoso<\/em>, alors qu\u2019il r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 passer entre accords et pincement de cordes de fa\u00e7on parfaitement imperceptible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un arp\u00e8gement soign\u00e9, et son ostinato n\u2019est jamais monotone. En harmonie avec le th\u00e8me romantique, le guitariste pousse \u00e0 ses limites les capacit\u00e9s de son instrument dans la <em>R\u00eaverie<\/em> <em>nocturne<\/em> de Giulio Regondi avec sa magnifique technique de vibrato.<\/p>\n<p>Le c\u00f4t\u00e9 brut et naturel de l\u2019enregistrement ajoute encore au romantisme de l\u2019album. Du bois qui grince lorsque M.
