La liaison avec Proust a eu lieu dans les ann\u00e9es 1890. Hahn a v\u00e9cu jusqu&#8217;en 1947, combattant les Allemands pendant la Premi\u00e8re Guerre mondiale et se cachant d&#8217;eux comme un Juif traqu\u00e9 pendant la Seconde.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Il a \u00e9crit un op\u00e9ra du <em>Marchand de Venise<\/em> pour Paris et une com\u00e9die musicale populaire intitul\u00e9e <em>Mozart<\/em>. Mais il \u00e9tait surtout dou\u00e9 pour les m\u00e9lodies et les miniatures pour piano. Celles qui sont rassembl\u00e9es ici sont tout \u00e0 fait inconnues, et certaines d&#8217;entre elles font leurs d\u00e9buts sur disque.<\/p>\r\n<p>Un morceau intitul\u00e9 <em>Eros Hiding in the Woods<\/em> (Eros se cachant dans les bois) d\u00e9voile en quelque sorte son jeu, mais avec plus de subtilit\u00e9 et d&#8217;originalit\u00e9 que je m&#8217;y attendais.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/582567-3210952249.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1010638 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/582567-3210952249.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"292\" height=\"292\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/582567-3210952249.jpg 500w, https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/582567-3210952249-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/582567-3210952249-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/myscena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/582567-3210952249-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 292px) 100vw, 292px\" \/><\/a>Certaines pi\u00e8ces \u00e9voquent les liaisons illicites et glauques de la <em>Nuit transfigur\u00e9e<\/em> de Schoenberg et le destin in\u00e9luctable de<em> Tristan et Isolde<\/em> de Wagner. Ce qu&#8217;il manque &#8211; et c&#8217;est tout \u00e0 l&#8217;honneur de Hahn &#8211; c&#8217;est toute trace de sentimentalisme. Hahn raconte des histoires intelligentes pour dix doigts. Les meilleures d&#8217;entre elles sont aussi captivantes qu&#8217;un myst\u00e8re de l&#8217;inspecteur Maigret.<\/p>\r\n<p>Pavel Kolesnikov, qui rassemble ces pi\u00e8ces, a une formation russe et r\u00e9side en Grande-Bretagne. Il est parfois assez lourd sur le plan de l&#8217;atmosph\u00e8re, mais lorsqu&#8217;il s&#8217;all\u00e8ge, il a la d\u00e9licatesse d&#8217;un jeune Horowitz et le sens comique de Rowan Atkinson. Comment ne pas aimer ?
