Fleisher a perdu l\u2019usage de sa main droite en 1964. Apr\u00e8s une s\u00e9rie de traitements au fil des ans, il a finalement pu recommencer \u00e0 jouer le r\u00e9pertoire \u00e0 deux mains, mais pas au m\u00eame niveau. Les interpr\u00e9tations et les enregistrements d\u2019avant 1964 restent les meilleurs exemples de son talent exceptionnel.<\/p>\n<p>Fleisher et le chef d\u2019orchestre George Szell entretenaient une relation particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9troite et ont enregistr\u00e9 les deux concertos de Brahms pour CBS avec le Cleveland Orchestra. Cependant, les interpr\u00e9tations en direct de Brahms avec Pierre Monteux sont \u00e0 ne pas manquer. Monteux \u00e9tait un chef d\u2019orchestre l\u00e9gendaire de la musique fran\u00e7aise, mais son Brahms faisait \u00e9galement autorit\u00e9. L\u2019interpr\u00e9tation de 1962 avec l\u2019Orchestre du Concertgebouw est particuli\u00e8rement m\u00e9morable pour la chaleur et la richesse du son et pour l\u2019intensit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.<\/p>\n<p>Fleisher et Szell ont \u00e9galement enregistr\u00e9 le <i>Concerto pour piano<\/i> n\u00b0 25 de Mozart avec le Cleveland Orchestra, mais cette version enregistr\u00e9e sur sc\u00e8ne avec le Philharmonique de Berlin au Festival de Salzbourg est tout aussi bonne, et peut-\u00eatre plus anim\u00e9e dans le dernier mouvement. Dans l\u2019ensemble, ce sont de superbes interpr\u00e9tations et le rematri\u00e7age de Jacob Harnoy est exemplaire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Leon Fleisher Live Vol. 1.
