N\u00e9 en 1955, le pianiste et compositeur italien r\u00e9put\u00e9 aujourd\u2019hui pour ses musiques de film a pu renouer avec son instrument de pr\u00e9dilection durant la pand\u00e9mie. De cette p\u00e9riode de confinement, douze pi\u00e8ces pour piano ont \u00e9merg\u00e9\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Le titre <i>Underwater<\/i> (sous la mer) est une m\u00e9taphore. C\u2019est l\u2019expression d\u2019un univers tr\u00e8s fluide sans aucune interf\u00e9rence du monde ext\u00e9rieur \u00bb, explique-t-il en entrevue.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, la musique de cet album semble \u00eatre faite pour \u00eatre \u00e9cout\u00e9e seul. Le tempo assez lent et la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition de motifs en boucles cr\u00e9ent une atmosph\u00e8re enveloppante, pour ne pas dire ber\u00e7ante. La r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration du son ajoute \u00e0 cette impression \u00e9th\u00e9r\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Le probl\u00e8me vient du manque de diversit\u00e9 parmi toutes ces pi\u00e8ces. Chapeau \u00e0 celui ou celle qui arrivera \u00e0 les distinguer.
