Starting with <\/span>Fifteen pieces, <\/span><\/i>Op. 3,<\/span> deeply romantic and full of freshness, and continuing with the majestic<\/span> Variations in C minor, Op. 42<\/span><\/i> with a more serious character and a funeral atmosphere. Historical premieres on CD: Nocturne, Op. 31, Bagatelle, Op. 33 and the Six Pieces.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The two overarching ideas that Lara Deutsch and Phil Chiu used as inspiration for this album are dreams and journeys. Dreamy music is often associated with relaxation and easy-listening \u2014 but don\u2019t be fooled; this music has wickedly fast and thrilling sounds that capture the chaotic nature of dreams as well!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
