Acclaimed Swedish mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter is one of today’s most recorded artists with an incomparable and varied discography built across a career now spanning more than three decades at the very top of her profession. Equally recognized for her exemplary work in opera as well as in both concert and recital settings, her career has taken her around the globe performing with famous collaborators in the world’s most significant venues. According to Opera Now Magazine, Anne Sofie von Otter “possesses one of the most flexible and natural vocal instruments of any living artist”. For this very special engagement, the mezzo-soprano performs Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s splendid masterpiece Abendempfindung, works by romantic era Swedish composers Adolf Lindblad and Erik Gustaf Geijer, as well as a bevy of lyrical gems by Franz Schubert. The Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano performs with celebrated Austrian pianist Christoph Berner.

Sa discographie incomparable et variée s’étend sur une carrière de plus de trois décennies au sommet de sa profession. Reconnue aussi bien pour son travail exemplaire à l’opéra qu’en concert et en récital, sa carrière l’a menée aux quatre coins du monde, se produisant avec des collaborateurs célèbres dans les lieux les plus importants du monde. Selon le magazine Opera Now, Anne Sofie von Otter « possède l’un des instruments vocaux les plus souples et les plus naturels de tous les artistes vivants ». Pour cet engagement très spécial, la mezzo-soprano interprète le splendide chef-d’œuvre de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart « Abendempfindung », des œuvres des compositeurs suédois de l’ère romantique Adolf Lindblad et Erik Gustaf Geijer, ainsi qu’une ribambelle de joyaux lyriques de Franz Schubert.
