McAnsh will present “Music of the Great Lakes (A Songbook for the Canadian Indigenous). This suite explores the music of each lake as it hosts tribes including Chippewa/Ojibwe, Cree, Dakota/Sioux, Huron, Iroquois. Each tribe holds idiosyncrasies native to its geographical zone that make for powerful rituals, ceremony, and music. Under the direction of Danilo Perez, (UNESCO Artist for Peace) Andrew explores his vision with his Great Lakes Suite.
