Everyone knows Pachelbel for his famous “Canon in D”, which it is the cause of much eye-rolling of cellists everywhere as they are made to perform the repeated ground bass on numerous occasions. Now we have our revenge! Pachelbel was a prolific composer who was well loved during his lifetime. This special Space Time Continuo line-up of 3 cellists (Amanda Keesmaat, Elinor Frey, Camille Paquette-Roy) organ (Luc Beauséjour) and archlute (Sylvain Bergeron) discover more Pachelbel music in transcriptions of Magnificat Fugues, Violin sonatas and yes, the Canon in D.
