These imaginative, dynamic performers explore the fire from which Maritime music ignited, with glowing traditional and just realized tunes for flutes, fiddle, pipes, keyboards, voice and inspired choreographed dance. Chris Norman, David Greenberg and Matthew Olwell present “The Bonfire”!

Renowned flutist Chris Norman performed on the Oscar winning soundtrack of Titanic and other Hollywood films including, Soldier, and the Stone of Destiny. He is the founder & director of the international Boxwood Festivals & Workshops.

Violinist David Greenberg‘s artistry spans the centuries, from baroque, traditional Cape Breton and 18th-century Scottish fiddle virtuosity to contemporary repertoire.

Dancer and percussionist Matthew Olwell has been performing and teaching at festivals and theaters across North America and Europe since 1996. He grew up in a family of instrument-makers, surrounded by music, dance and theatre.
