Sketchbook Nature Walk with Rob Elliot

0

Due to COVID-19, we are unable to offer our Artist-in-Residence program on location along the shores of Lake Rosseau as in previous years. This year we will be offering virtual workshops in various forms (via zoom, live stream, or instructional video) during the week each artist was originally scheduled. These videos will be posted on our AIR page and in the event descriptions

Rob Elliott has been working as a painter, illustrator and designer for over 20 years. He is originally from Vancouver. His colourful and bold art approach stems from his early jobs as a screen printer and newspaper layout artist. With his partner Christine Cosby, he operated the pop art-themed Swizzle Gallery in Toronto. Rob spent seven years in Kincardine (on the shore of Lake Huron), where he made animal-themed paintings to exhibit in galleries and art fairs. As a long-time member of the Niagara Artists Centre, Rob has created wearable art sculptures and collaborated with the Puppet-A-Go-Go collective. He is the illustrator of the Cold Case Kids mystery novels (set in Southampton). He is also an amateur birdwatcher and plays accordion in a weird cover band. Rob is presently based in Toronto.
