Opera McGill presents The Turn of the Screw

With Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Schulich School of Music students recount an old-fashioned ghost story that will capture and fascinate, holding you in its grasp until its chilling conclusion. You’ll have a front-row seat to the talent and skill of our students – and there’s more beyond the performances on screen by Opéra McGill and the McGill Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Hargreaves. All audio and video have been captured and cast by our sound recording students under the guidance of Richard King and George Massenburg. Overseeing the whole project is stage director Patrick Hansen, who has fueled the collaborative process from day one.
